Phu Tho province: Phu Ha industrial park attracts 269 million USD in foreign investment

On the afternoon of September 15, 2021, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Phu Tho Province awarded an investment registration certificate worth 269.1 million USD to BYD ELECTRONIC (INTERNATIONAL) COMPANY LIMITED (with address: in Hong Kong - China) built BYD Vietnam electronics factory in Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho town.

According to the Investment Registration Certificate, BYD Vietnam Electronics Factory will be built on an area of 26 hectares at Lot CN-2A in Phu Ha Industrial Park. Phase 1 of the factory has a design capacity of over 4.3 million tablets and 50 million optical prisms, has now begun construction and will go into trial production in April 2022, the main production awake in June 2022. Phase 2 with a design capacity of over 10 million tablets/year (additional 7 production lines, tablet assembly) will carry out the construction and completion of the factory in March 2023, official production will be completed. January 2024. The total number of employees attracted by both phases is about 15,000 people.

Phu Ha Industrial Park has an area of 360ha, has invested in completing 213ha of infrastructure, currently has 26 investors in building factories on an area of 112ha, creating jobs for over 15,000 employees.
