Trade deficit of $1.51 billion in the first half of September 2021

The data just released by the General Department of Customs shows that, in the first 15 days of September (from September 1 to 15), the country's import and export turnover reached 24.65 billion USD.

In which, export turnover reached 11.57 billion USD. Phones and components; computers, electronic products and components; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; Textiles and garments are export groups with a turnover of 1 billion USD or more. However, the turnover of key commodity groups decreased sharply compared to the second half of August 2021.

In the opposite direction, import turnover in the first half of September reached 13.08 billion USD. Computers, electronic products and components; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts are two groups of goods with a turnover of 1 billion USD or more.

Accumulated from the beginning of the year to the end of September 15, the total import-export turnover of the whole country reached nearly 455 billion USD; in which, export reached 225.2 billion USD, import reached more than 229 billion USD. Also in the first half of September, our country had a trade deficit of $1.51 billion.
