In the first 8 months of 2021, the whole country has 30 products with export turnover of over 1 billion USD, accounting for 91.8% of total export turnover; in which there are 6 export items of over 10 billion USD, accounting for 63%.

According to the General Statistics Office, in terms of the group's structure of exports in the first eight months, the group of fuels and minerals was estimated at US$2.29 billion, up 3.6% over the same period last year; the group of processed industrial products was estimated at 189.28 billion USD, up 22.5%; the group of agricultural and forestry products reached USD 15.4 billion, up 14.9% and the group of aquatic products reached USD 5.58 billion, up 7.1%.

Regarding the import market of goods in the first eight months of 2021, China is Vietnam's largest import market with a turnover of 72.5 billion USD, up 47.1% over the same period last year.
